God's Work, Our Hands

God's Work Our Hands Sunday workday will be Saturday, September 7 at 9am. We would love to have your help as we work to beautify the church property.  

Team Courtyard - we will spruce up the courtyard area by working the below items.  We ask that if you have any of the supplies in ( ), please bring those. You may also want to have gloves (for dry and wet work) and eye protection (glasses). 

1.  All pea gravel back under the swings (brooms/rakes/whisk brush/dust pans)
2.  Trim the shrubbery in the middle (pruners)
3.  Remove the small weeds growing up between the cracks in the bricks then sweep (by hand or string trimmer/ heavy duty garbage bags)
4.  General sweep of the entire area to include breezeway on east side (brooms)
5.  Clean up chalk drawings on walls (scrub brushes / rags)
6.  Clean/scrub down all 7 teak benches (nylon brushes/buckets/old rags/rubber/latex gloves, if anyone has some teak cleaner or TSP, that is also helpful) Note: we will have to wait a few days after scrubbing them before we can sand them = next step in their restoration.
7.  Weed/trim shrubs from around the perimeter of the building (pruners/gloves/heavy duty garbage bags)
8.  Clean/sweep out the outdoor storage area  (broom/dustpan)
9. TBD - Plant ferns (if available; trowels) 
10.  TBD - Pressure wash hard surfaces as needed
